To avoid this effect, lay off the salt shaker and take a look at what kinds of foods you're eating regularly. Although processed, boxed or other convenience foods are helpful for an overwhelmed mother, they're not good for your body. Instead, snack on fresh fruits and vegetables, high-protein options like Greek yogurt and fiber-rich grains.
